Pyrethrum TR Micro Total Release Insecticide is a ready-to-use, ultra-low-volume fogger designed to effectively control a wide variety of greenhouse insects. This insecticide offers the effectiveness and convenience of a total release fogger, providing growing operations with quick, thorough coverage, excellent plant safety, low worker exposure, and short reentry times. Pyrethrum is labeled for use on a wide variety of greenhouse crops, including herbs, vegetables, bedding plants, cut flowers, flowering hanging baskets, foliage, potted flowering plants, and ornamentals.
The insecticide is particularly effective against aphids, fungus gnats, mites, and whiteflies, as well as numerous secondary insect pests. One 2-ounce canister of Pyrethrum covers up to 3,000 square feet, making it an economical choice for growers. Micro foggers also reduce operating expenses by eliminating the need for expensive fogging equipment maintenance or repair, as well as the need for chemical mixing and cleanup.
Used as an early rotational insecticide, Pyrethrum provides greenhouse, nursery, and garden center growers with broad-spectrum insect control on a wide range of crops. These include root and tuber, bulb, leafy, Brassica leafy, legume, fruiting, and cucurbit vegetable types.
